First Day of Grade Four Five

Wow! My friend's and I are now in grade five! Our LA teacher became Ms. Prerna Paryani, Math as Ms. Penny Alphena Lukens, Ms. Praveena Sachdev as Science, and Social Studies as Mr. Brent Anglin. Our art teacher is now Mr. Renante Sison, PE is still the same as before, Mr. Mark Caunan, my Chinese teacher as Mr. Deng (same teacher like last year), and Mr. Jess as our computer teacher. On the first day of school in grade 5, I saw on the notice board the I was in grade 5 Yellow. Two of my best friends were in the same class too, but the other two were in a different class. Our old friend from grade two came back. As you may know, I study in an International School.

The classrooms were all different. Of course, we all felt weird on the first day, to remember all the classrooms and the teachers that were going to teach us. The schedule was not fixed, so we were really mixed up on where to go. On that day, some parts of the schedule were blank and some were not in order. It was supposed to be Thai Culture on the first period, but instead we had to go to the auditorium on the third floor and read, because the name of the schedule was blank. As I told you, we kinda got it hard to get along on the first day to find the classrooms we are supposed to be in at the right time. The other class got confused too. HaHaHa...

I Can't Wait!

Now that my school will almost closed for the "End of Term Break", I can't wait to go to Indonesia to meet the rest of my family! I also can't wait to ride on that Tubby Wonderland, like last year, but now on the twisty one by myself. I can't wait to play with my cousins there, can't wait to take a trip to Puncak and Bandung, can't wait to play, play, play! I can't wait to play in all the places that I mentioned in the last post of Indonesia too! Again, I also can't wait to ride bicycles with my cousin, swim and eat at my favorite Chinese restaurant there, May Star in Emporium Pluit around my grandparents' home district which is called Pluit. I can't wait to play my wheels in Indonesia with my brother and my two cousins. And again, my family, me, my brother, my mom, and my dad, will stay there for two months which is around sixty to sixty-two days! Sorry I keep saying "I can't wait" I'm just too excited to go back to Indonesia! Bye! I JUST CAN'T WAIT! (Oops I said it again) \(^,^)/ This video reminds me of my days in Wells Thonglor.

P.E With Mr. John

Hi everyone! Today I'm going to talk about when Mr. Mark did not come to school on Friday to teach us P.E so, Mr. John taught us instead. Mr. John taught us girls how to throw a ball. First, he said to hold a ball. If you are right handed, hold it on your right hand. If you are left hander, do all these steps the opposite way. I'm right handed, so I will tell you the right hand way. Your right hand must be behind your body, where you are going to throw. This picture here shows you.

Then lift up your opposite foot (left), and throw at your target! Done! Easy right? After that, we played soccer in groups of 3. I was with my friends, Hasina and Ananta, against Jarina, Nimmita and Zunera. Both teams cannot have a goalie. You have to kick the ball to the cone of the other team. We kicked the ball to the other team's cone 7 times as they got 0. Wow! I can't believe it! We won! Bye Socceries!

Mother Earth

Hi everyone today's post is about Mother Earth song. Our Science teacher, Mr. Geoff taught is this song (I did Geo of Geoff, bold, italic, and underlined to my friends so don't think about it too much...). He says it cools him down when he listens to this song. Because of that song, I love to listen to it during computer blog hw, Aleks math and computer stuff. It's a nice song. I can almost remember the whole song. It is by the band Within Temptation. You might have heard that band and the song. Here is a video of it. Some of my friends like this song and listen to it the same way like me. Here is a video of this song. I like the parts when the singer shows her funky moves. The fire part, I like it too.->

H.H.H.H! (Happy Hua Hin Holiday!)-Day 1

Hi everyone! I had another fun holiday in Hua Hin from Tuesday, April 17th 2012 to Friday, April 19th 2012 for our Songkran break in Ibis (opened in January)! I stayed there for four days and three nights. Our hotel room is on the sixth floor, room 627. When I went in, there was a huge bed, a balcony, TV, a bunk bed, and behind the wall, an XBox, refrigerator and a wardrobe with a safe inside. Turning to the left of the entrance door to the room is a small bathroom. When I saw the bunk bed, a ran up the ladder of it and saw a huge teddy bear doll. I went back down the ladder and under the top bed, was another bed with an Ultra man doll. The second thing I did was to go behind the wall and turn on the XBox. The games were only Hexic, Peggle and Pinball FX. Instead of playing, I gave the joistick to my brother because he wanted to play. He played Hexic. When he finished, I also played Hexic. After playing theXBox, we changed into our swimming clothes and went downstairs to go swimming. The swimming pool in the hotel is not deep, just 1.20 Meters deep. The smaller one is just 0.30 Centimeters deep. We went into the bigger one and swam in there. My brother was learning how to swim with my dad. He was learning how to do the hands of breaststroke (the frog), but with the flatterkick. We swam until evening. After that, we went to take a look around at the beach. When we went to the shore, we were able to walk through the water and then on to the land deeper in the ocean. It was very windy as we stood in the middle waching the sky turn dark. The waves were growing strong that it splashed hard onto our legs that my brother almost fell down, so we had to leave and eat dinner. After eating dinner, we went back to the hotel and went upstairs to our room. After getting ready to sleep, my brother played the XBox while I went to sleep on the bunk bed.
This part was about my first day in Hua Hin so you can find me on the second day in:
H.H.H.H! (Happy Hua Hin Holiday!)-Day 2
Bye Bye! See you next time!

H.H.H.H.! (Happy Hua Hin Holiday!)-Day 2

Hi there! This is now me again in Hua Hin, but now I'm telling you about day 2! Here is the story of my family in Hua Hin, day 2! I was the first person to wake up in the morning. It was very quiet. The curtains were drawn down so I saw a little bit of the sunlight outside. I sat up on the 2 level bunk bed (I wish the bunk bed is a 3 level one like the on in the picture!), and opened the curtain. I saw daylight streaming into the room. It didn't wake the others though. I love early, quiet mornings. I went down the ladder, to my brother. I slept a while there and then he suddenly said, "Hey! Don't sleep over here!" That was how the quiet morning began to start the noisy morning, because that woke my parents up. I told them that I wanted to swim, but they said we have to eat breakfast downstairs first. After I got dressed, I played XBox for a while, waiting for the others. When my brother was done, he said, "Hey! Why are you playing the XBox! Give it to me!" Then I said, "You played for a long time last night so now it's my turn. Don't you remember anything or what?!" I played Hexic, then tried Peggle, then last Pinball FX, but before I finished playing Hexic again after trying Pinball FX, my dad was dressed and then he said to me to let my brother play. As always, my brother is always the one who got to play it the whole holiday. So don't ask me why in the next two days of the holiday's posts, I told you that just now. Alright if it's enough let's get back to the story. Where were we? Oh yah, right when my brother is playing it. It was a long time before we were ready to go down. After we ate, we went back upstairs. We just did a little upstairs, then went back down. We went to our car and drove some where to eat lunch. After eating, we drove back to ibis.We walked to our room and changed to our swimming suits to go to swim downstairs. When it got very hot, we walked back upstairs with drops of water because we were wet. We changed again and I then watched cartoons on Boomerang while my brother played the XBox. When it got cooler a bit an the sun was not really there hiding behind the clouds, we changed again and packed the beach toys to go to the beach. When we reached the beach, the first thing I did was to play in the ocean. I found 3 large jellyfish. After playing in the ocean, I ran to my brother who was playing with the sand trying to make a sandcastle. We found alot of small shells too! When we almost made the sandcastle, it was getting dark so we had to pack up and go back. Suddenly, before we started to pack up, my mom saw 3 pink lights from the sky meeting together at one place the light looked like comets in the sky. We took pictures, then packed up and went back to the hotel. In our room, we washed ourselves off from the sand and changed our clothes to go out to eat dinner. After driving somewhere to eat dinner and eating, we drove back to the hotel and changed to sleep. I watched the news for animals for a while then went to sleep. Oh I forgot! My brother had a loose tooth so when we ate, his tooth fell off! He was so excited that he brought the tooth to the hotel and put it under his pillow right after changing, played, then slept.

Well that's all for day 2 now! Don't worry! There are still 2 more days then bye to Hua Hin!
Come on and meet me in:
H.H.H.H.! (Happy Hua Hin Hoiday!)-Day 3
Bye Bye! See you on day 3!

I love Lego. I love to make things with it. I have Police Lego, Hospital Lego, Harry Potter Diagon Alley Lego, Star Wars X-Wing Lego, 2 in 1 Helicopter and Airplane Set Lego Technic, Crane Lego Technic, Star Wars Hoth Battle Lego, A Box of Plain Lego (to make your own city), 3 in 1 Lego House Set, 1 plain Lego plate, Airplane Lego, Warship Lego and a 3 floor sea-house. That is THIRTEEN LEGO SETS. We play it almost everyday. My brother also loves to play with it. My dad loves to play with it too. The most exciting part of Lego is when you build and put all the Lego pieces together. Here is a funny Lego Star Wars Video Clip.

Star Wars X-Wing

This is my first Star Wars post, and it is about my brother's (Brandon) X-Wing. He got it for his birthday. The minifigures in the X-Wing box are Luke Skywalker, R2-D2, Princess Leia, Wedge Antilles, Chewbacca and Han Solo. My brother put all of the Lego pieces altogether all by himself. He just turned six that time, but he can make it all by himself. Actually, that Lego is for 8 years old to 12 years old. There are four hundred, thirty-seven pieces in all. The X-Wing Starfighter just looks like the real Starfighter in the Star Wars Movie. Here is the video of the X-Wing Starfighter Lego Review.

The Talent Show Last Year

Last year in grade three I used to join a talent show. I played piano, sung a song called "FireFlies" and danced a ballet that I learned in CalaDance in Emporium. I practiced playing the song on the piano in KPN (where my piano class is) many times. I almost went there everyday afterschool practicing that song for the talent show! I also practiced singing "FireFlies" on the microphone in KPN too. Sometimes I practice it at home. I always practiced the ballet dance after ballet class in CalaDance with my teacher. The talent show is a competition. On the day of the talent show, I felt nervous and I felt like that I would'nt win. I tried my best on the talent show and because of the hardworking and trying as hard as I could, at the end the judges announced that I won! There are 5 people who will be the winner, but I came in 1st place! I was so happy and my mother and father was very proud of me. Here is a video of the FireFlies Official Music Video and one with the lyrics.

Hoedown Throwdown, By: Miley Cyrus

Hi! This song is about  Hoedown Throwdown. We learned this song in Performing Arts class and the dance steps. It is by Miley Cyrus. Ms. Pae taught us how to do the dance steps. Some parts are easy to do, some parts are hard, but most of them are fun! Especially all the girls like it, but even boys sing the song everywhere they go. Sometimes they even sing and dance at the same time. It only took us two weeks to learn it all. Here is the video of the dance steps and the whole dance. The beginning of the dance and the song together starts like this: Pop it lock it polka dot it, country-fy it hip-hop it...

Khanom Bua Loy Benjarong:
Instructions How To Make It

Before on the other post I told you the what the sweet, to make the colour and the ingredients right? If you didn't click on the website at the bottom of the post. Here are the instructions on how to make the Thai "Khanom Bua Loy Benjarong" sweet.

  Directions:

1.  For each colour's set of ingredients, knead the ingredients together until a dough is formed. If the dough does not form in a long time, sprinkle with warm water as needed. If the dough is sticking to your hands, sprinkle with sticky rice flour as needed. Cover the dough with damp cloth.

2.  Pinch off the dough and roll into a small ball on your palm. The ball should be around 0.5 centimeters (1/4") in diameter. Cover the ball with damp cloth.

3.  Boil a pot of water. Drop all the balls into the boiling water in the pot. The cooked balls will rise to the surface of the water. Remove the floating balls and put them in a bowl of cold water to shock them so that they stop cooking. Drain and set aside.

4.  In a seperate pot, add one cup of water-like coconut milk, padanus leaves and sugar. Bring to the boil.

5.  Add cooked sticky rice balls in the pot. Bring to boil.

6.  Add 1 cup of coconut milk cream and salt. Stir and remove from heat.

7.  Serve warm.

Directions For "Pandanus Water":

1.  Cut 2 pandanus leaves into small pieces, about 1"x 1".

2.  In the blender, add pandanus leaves and 1 cup of water. Discard the pandanus pulp. Keep the pandanus water. Freeze the leftovers for future use.

My Grade 3 After-school

Hi, you know I learned after-school with my homeroom teacher in grade 3 who is Ms. Anna that comes from the U.K. Malika, Harshitha, Ananta, Seo Yun, and many of the grade 4 students this year joined it. The after-school is about Glee for students that are in Wells Thonglor Campus. Ms. Anna is a great singer and a great guitarist. She taught us many songs. Sometimes at the end Ms. Rhiannon(the 3B class teacher)goes too the room and watches us sing. Sometimes after that we play Bang. It's so fun. There should be at least 2 people and up. We have to put our hands on the sides of your body and when Ms. Anna says someone's name, that person has to duck down. The person beside that person who duck down has to turn to each other and say bang. The slower one will be out. When there are 2 people left, they have to stand back to back. When Ms. Anna says, "1,2,3 go!", they have to turn around and say BANG! The slower person will be OUT! ;) :D
This is the list of songs she taught us.
  • The Climb by Miley Cyrus
  • Don't Stop Believing
  • True Colours
  • Defying Gravity

There are still more but I like these songs the best. Here are the videos of all the songs.

                                                               The Climb
Don't Stop Believing

True Colours
Defying Gravity
I was one of the solos in The Climb on the Spring Concert last year we had it in Wells Onnut Campus.

The Adventure of Exploring... Japan! (Volume #3)

Oohh! It was a drizzly morning on the second day of our trip to Japan when I woke up. I got ready and started playing in the room. When everyone was ready for that day(with all the raincoats and umbrella's, just in case if it rained more harder), we went downstairs and went to the Meiji Jingu Temple by train to the Harajuku Train Station. While we were going there, the drizzle stopped. Over there, we went to the Harajuku Toy Shop, The Snoopy House and looked around the Meiji Jingu Temple. When we looked around, we saw dressed up teenage boys and girls. The dressing up is called cosplay. I took pictures with 2 of the girls in that crowd. We went back to the apartment after the whole tiring day. (L.L)

Japan Trip Volume #2

On the 3rd day of Christmas...? Why Christmas? I'm not going to talk about Christmas?! I'm talking about...no. Guess what I'm talking about. You should know by the title! About Japan! On  the 3rd day of our trip to Japan(sorry it's this one not that one. My brother was saying it when I was going to start typing that's why lvovl...(sigh...)), we went to Tokyo Disneyland where we met my friend Moka. When me and Moka played there, a drizzle started. Then it grew to a sprinkle, then light rain. After that it turned to rain, then heavy rain started pouring on us. We quickly wore our raincoats and opened our umbrella's. We played for so long in Tokyo Disneyland in the rain that we felt very cold. Moka couldn't bear it, so she went home. I wanted to go back to the apartment, but I also wanted to stay. So, I just stayed. I played and played and played and played and played. It was late, so I had to go home. I was tired though, but I didn't show it. I just happily skipped alongside my parents. When we reached the apartment, my brother Brandon was so tired, but happy when my parents put him to sleep with me. Nightie Night! Time for the good night sleep. (v.v)<zZzZzZ...l Tomorrow is the day we will go to other places. Read the next post...(^_^) \l>.<l/

What I Like To Do In School

In school I like to do experiments in Science, do PE and swimming, World Maths Day in Math, World Spelling Day in LA, learn about things in Social Studies and read books in the library. Science is fun when we do experiments because we get to see rare things move and act in like real life but only in the class. I like to do PE and swimming because I like sports and other outdoor activities and games. I like World Maths Day because we get to do Math against other people and friends around the world. I like World Spelling Day because we get too spell words against other people and friends all over the world. I like to learn about things in Social Studies because it is interesting. I like to read books in the library because I like to read books and even one chapter book, can keep me sitting down reading for a long time without even stopping. I also like to read books because all of them that I like to read are adventurous books. (>.<) Ta ta so long! I'm done! (>v<) Good Bye! (^_^)
What book do I like to read?
The Secret Garden!
I have the same book like this one,
and my brother reads this book too!

Japan Trip Volume #1

Konichiwa! I have always thought of how Japan looks like and how the Japanese people live. I also always dreamed of going to Japan and I really went there! I went to Japan on July 2007 when I was around four and a half years old. We went there by plane. The flight was at 12:00 A.M. My dad was already there in Japan because he went there for work, so me, my mom and my one and a half years old brother went there together. My mom already called the Taxi and while we waited in our room already ready, I fell asleep around 9:00 P.M. When the Taxi came, my mom left my brother and I in our room, and took the luggage to the Taxi first and went back upstairs to carry Brandon down and went back in again and carried me to the Taxi. Then finally we went to the airport. I opened my eyes in the Taxi but I was still sleepy. I opened my eyes a little bit to see where we were going. When I saw the airport, I opened my eyes so wide to really check if it really was the airport, and it was! I was so excited that I couldn't sleep in the airplane. I slept around 2:00 A.M in the airplane instead. It was five hours until we reached Japan. Japan is three hours faster than Thailand, so we reached there around 8:00 A.M. We went by bus to the bus stop from the airport around the apartment we are going to stay in. The ride in the bus from the airport to the apartment was about 1 hour long. When we reached the bus stop, my dad came to pick us up, we had to walk to the apartment. We were very tired but we still had to walk all the way there. We reached the apartment. We were even more tired and went to sleep. (v_v)-> So tired...(LoL) Ooohhh...Going to sleep...Bye...zZzZzZ...(L_L) (v.v) I was thinking where we would go the next day while sleeping. We went here the next day. l_l

Let's Explore... Koh Samui!

Laaa, Laaa, La, Laa, La, Laa, Sing a happy s...Oh! Sorry! l,v_v,l You want to hear the story? Here is the story from the last part in the end of "Koh Samui... Here We Come!" Here is the website if you haven't read that part. http://sasha2002.blogspot.com/2012/02/koh-samui-here-we-come.html

While we were lining up, my brother kept telling me many things what we might do there, he never stopped telling me. He kept babbling soo long as a blabbermouth and a Chatty Kathy or maybe even very talkative. I wasn't even able to tell him anything that that our mom and dad already told me what we were going to do. I looked at my mom and dad strangely. My mom and dad heard some things that he said, but they shook their heads, because they are the only ones who know what we are going to do there (even me).

When the line moved, my brother pulled me soo hard again and I was following him with only one foot hopping up and down. When we reached the part of the line, he started talking again. He pulled me again, and now I was hopping on the other foot. Then he talked to me again. Then he pulled me again, now with me running after him. Then again he talked to me. Then it started over and over and over again. Until I was sooooooooooooooooo tired. UH...UH...UH... Then we reached the end of the port. UH...UH...UH...I am still tired... Ok. Ready. We took a tuk tuk and sat in UH... still tired... there and then zoomed off to our destination which is the hotel. I finally felt more calm and not really tired any more. We also tried to jump and pose in the air. We explored our hotel and also played at the beach. Here is one of the videos we played at the beach. Good Bye! Second day of Koh Samui, here we go!

Things I Do After-School

I love to read books. With my spare time I will use it for reading. I'm reading almost everytime in the library after-school after doing all my understood homework. When I'm done with reading, I go to a computer lab and do some homework there if it is still before 3:30.Then I go back downstairs and go to the library and read and read and read and read and read and read and read and read until 4:00.

I will play downstairs and look around from 4:00 until my mom comes. Last semester, if it was on Wednesdays, I'll have to do basket-ball after-school with Mr. Mark and go with my mom to send Brandon(my brother) to his soccer class in Arsenal. On Thursdays I will go to KPN and do piano. This semester, if it's on Mondays I'll have to do swimming after-school with Mr. Mark. On Wednesdays, still I have to go with my mom to send Brandon to his soccer class. No basket-ball anymore. On Thursdays, piano class. It's fun to do things after-school if you are a pick-up and your'e parents pick you up late. ;D I love it... ;D... and you know it. Here's my brother Brandon in soccer.

Wow! We're finally in wonderful Perth!

Oh hello there! Remember I told you how we got to Perth? Yes right? If you didn't see it click on the website on the bottom of this post. This story is a sequel from the last post. Here it is!

We got ready and went downstairs to explore Perth. I took my jacket, just in case if it's cold. As we walked out of the hotel, the cold wind stung our faces. I quickly put on my jacket. Then we ran down the road from the hotel. When we wanted to cross the road, we had to press a button on the traffic light for pedestrians. I pressed the button, and the red light stayed there. Then as the green light flashed on, the red light for the cars was brightly shining and giving out it's light. The cars stopped. Then we were able to pass.

It was very fun in Perth. We went to the Caversham Wildlife Park and saw many animals. I saw kangaroos, joeys, wallaby, koalas, wombats, snakes, camels, pigs, goats, sheep, horses, and a hundred more. We ate lunch there under the shade of a tree. After the whole day of watching, feeding and taking pictures with the animals, we waited under the shade and sat on a bench outside the cafeteria. I saw they were selling juices with different tastes and pretty bottles in the fridge. I wanted one, so I asked my mom and dad if they could buy me one. They said if I want one, I have to ask for it myself. I ran there and asked how much it was, then bought the juice. I bought a bottle of peach juice. My brother also wanted one. I went with him and he bought the tropical one. While we were drinking the juice, I saw a peacock. It showed it's colourful feathers. We took a lot of pictures and video recordings in Caversham. Here is one of the video clips of me feeding rabbits.

The next day we went to the Science Center. It was amazing there was a robot that can draw my face with only one look! You know that this robot was not my friend, and it was the first time we met each other. I tried a force experiment which I had to sit down and pull myself up with a rope. I saw a pinball like game where the ball got carried up through many pipes and obstacles, but in the end it was going back down by a spiral track. We also went to Western Australian museum and saw many different things there. We went to a place called Perth Mint. It was a shop where they sell many kinds of gold and silver products. I was surprised to see a huge chocolate shaped like money there.
The third day my parents took us to Fremantle by boat. We waited for the boat by watching seagulls. I tried to go as near as I can to the seagull, but I couldn't do it. My nearest one near the seagull was when I only needed one more step near the seagull, but the seagull heard my footsteps and flew away. The boat came. We went in and found places to sit in. It was fun in the boat. When we reached Fremantle, we walked around the market, we saw an old lady dressed up as a silver fairy on the street. Her body was painted silver and she tried to stand still and smile. When my brother and I approached her, she shared her......actually it's kinda secret you know, I don't feel like telling you....but okay I gave up. She gave us her magical silver fairy dust to both of us. My brother held it tight in his hand, afraid they were flown away and the magic was gone. He would be very sad.... Then we walked more and saw a girl with red hair playing guitar on the street. I took a picture with her. She was really good with her guitar playing. There was also a man playing an , and many more. We went back to the hotel, and got ready for the last day. We ate at Ms. Maud that night and ate french fries and chips for dinner. We got some balloons and got a rabbit key chain. The next day, we said good-bye to Perth, let go of our balloons into the sky, and left to the airport, and head back home to Thailand.

Koh Samui... Here we come!

Hi! You know I went to an island called Koh Samui! It was soooo fun! My family and I went there and came back with many transportations! Here is a story what I did on the night before the trip day.

On the night before the trip, my brother and I were so excited. We were only talking about the trip to Koh Samui. Even when my mom and dad tucked us into bed, we were still talking about the trip. They said we have to have enough sleep on the trip but we still couldn't sleep. I think we almost stayed up all night talking to each other about the trip.

On the next day we rode on a Taxi to Hua Lamphong Train Station because the bus we were going to ride on was going to pick us up there. The bus we slept on the had two floors. We went onto the second floor and found four chairs to sit in. I looked out the window for a while, but I fell fast asleep when I was bored.

My dad woke me up on the next day around 6:00 A.M. in the morning. He said to look out the window and see the sunrise. I looked out the window. I saw the most wonderful sight. I never seen the Sun rise up before. It was my first time to see it. The Sun was cool red and the sky was shimmering blue. The sky was filled with the sound that the early morning was about to come. The birds were quietly singing as they built their nests. My brother was still asleep. It was very quiet in the bus upstairs except for my dad's voice and my voice. We had to be very quiet so we wouldn't wake anyone up. Slowly, sunlight filled the bus. Soon many people woke up and started talking to each other. I told my brother I saw the sunrise. He said I was so lucky to see it. We reached the port in the morning around 9:00 A.M. in the morning.

We played together and took pictures while waiting for the boat to come.  We lined up to get onto the boat. When we got onto the boat, we sat near the window so we can see the fish in the water. I only saw tiny fish in the water, so I got bored right away. An hour later, I heard my brother shouting,"Look! That's Koh Samui! We're here! We're here! Yippee!". As we reached the port, my brother was so excited he was squealing so loud and pulling my hand so hard to run there and line up with him until I almost fell down......

Here is a video above of the first part of the trip. If you want to see more, go to the post title that says,"Let's explore... Koh Samui!" Bye Bye!

Perth! Where are you?

I had sooooo much fun in Perth! My family and I went there by a plane. We played games and watched movies on a game pad in front of our seats. I played Bejewels game and watched Toy Story 3. I kept playing Bejewels until around 2:00 A.M. in the morning. I slept at around 2:20 A.M. and woke up around 7:00 A.M. in the morning. I started playing Bejewels game again. When I got bored of playing it, I went to the map to see where we were. Then I looked for other places on Earth. We reached there at 10:00 A.M. in the morning. We waited for the Taxi to come. It was very windy. My hair was whooshing past my face. My brother was running around and around in circles. He was very excited and wanted to keep warm by doing that. Luckily, we brought our jackets. It was warm inside our jackets. We saw the Taxi and clambered into it. Then we zoomed off to the Mercure hotel in the Taxi.

As we reached the Mercure hotel, we had to wait for my mom and dad to check in. While waiting, we stayed near the entrance where people go in and out so we can get used to the cold. Inside the hotel was V-E-R-Y  H-O-T but we stayed near the entrance, so we didn't feel hot anymore. Our parents called us so we can look around in our new room. We went upstairs and put our stuff in our room. My brother and I took off our shoes and jumped onto the two beds. First, I showed my brother if he could jump from one bed to the other. He was scared at first but a while later he was able to do it. Then we got ready to explore P-E-R-T-H  spells Perth!

Hua Hin Holiday! (H.H.H!)

Yippee! Yay! Woo! It was so fun in on my mid-term holiday last last year! We got to make sandcastles! The sandcastle was with water surrounding it. I found a twig and I stuck it to the top of the castle like a flag. My brother Brandon and I named it "The Biggest... Largest... Greatest... Gigantic... Humungous Sandcastle In All of Our His Story (History)!!!!!!!!!!" We also collected many sea shells. We made a contest of who collects the most sea shells, WINS!!! I found 20 and more. My mother found 15 and up. My brother found 10 and up. So who was first place? Comment it below and I'll just tell you yes or no. I sat down on the shore near the waves and then I saw a big wave coming. I was getting ready... putting on my goggles... taking the sand out of my swimming clothes... I was ready... then... SPLASH!!! The water splashed to my face as I spitted out the salty water. But we had a lot of fun you know. We even made a contest who will be the fastest runner on the sand between my brother and I at the end. I ran, and ran, and ran and then I reached the finish line... FIRST!!! I WON!!! I even learned how to swim in the hotel's pool with my dad and my brother. After that we played fish torpedoes in the water. I got at least 50 points. My brother got at least... Hmmm... let me think... 10?... No... 25?... No... YES! He got 35 at least. My dad was throwing the torpedoes and my mom was taking a video out of the water, so they didn't play or catch the torpedoes. We brought our beach ball and my brother, my dad, my mom and I all jumped in the water and played volleyball in the water. I had so much fun, plus, it was a great holiday.

Sepak Takraw (SouthEastAsian Game)

Sepak Takraw is a game when you use any part of your body except a your hands, to kick a ball to another side of the net in a court. The ball has holes in it so it will be lighter for people to pass it to the other side of the net. The only time you can only use your hands to pass the ball to the other side of the net if you are the first person. They count the points the same way they count it in volley ball. They use a net in a court, just the same as badminton. I learned how to play this at school. I'm South East Asian (Indonesian), and that is my kind of game that I will surely play whenever someone gives me that choice to choose from. Here is a video of a Sepak Takraw game in the S(outh)E(ast)A(sian) Games 2011.

Ba"D"minton not ba"T"minton!!!

Sometimes my friends get mixed up in one game, but with two names (not really). The first name is "Badminton" and the second one is "Batminton". Which name is the real one? Some people think you spell it "Batminton" because you use something like a bat (which is called a racket) that's why they think it is "Batminton". We spell it "Badminton", I don't know why. Here are the instructions how to play badminton. You have a racket and a shuttlecock. You play in a court with a net in the middle of the whole court. You serve the shuttlecock to the other side of the net to your opponent(s). If the shuttlecock fell dow on your side, the other team will get one point. If the shuttlecock falls down on your opponent's side, you will get one point. Here is a picture of what the shuttlecock and the badminton together looks like.
The shuttlecock is the one with the white feathers on the top. The racket is the one with a net and a handle to hold it to use it for hitting the shuttlecock to your opponent(s) side. Here is a video clip below the shuttlecock and the badminton racket picture. It is about two women. One from Singapore and one from Indonesia.

My Summer Holiday

For my summer holiday from June to July I went to Indonesia to meet my cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents. We went to play at Kampung Gajah (elephant village), The Ranch, the playground of a restaurant and Puncak (in the mountains). In Kampung Gajah, we played the Tubby Wonderland. The Tubby Wonderland is when we slide down a huge gigantic straight slippery slide in a big round swimming bun. I went down with my dad and went down in the straight one instead of the twisty one because I thought it was scary. As I went down the slide and reached down at the bottom, I wanted to ride the twisty ride by myself but it was too late. My dad said I should ride on it in the next summer holiday. We also played Bumper Cars, racing in cars, rode on a train, waved to a huge bus as it passed by, and many many more. In The Ranch, we played the Flying Fox. My brother Brandon was just 5 years old that time and my cousin was just 7 years old. Brandon can ride the Flying Fox and he's not even scared to ride it. My cousin (who I said was 7 years old earlier) was so scared until she was crying at the top when my dad was taking a video! We also played water-gun in a boat and my cousin Matthew was all wet! But we had alot of fun. Even Brandon got wet!!
