My Summer Holiday

For my summer holiday from June to July I went to Indonesia to meet my cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents. We went to play at Kampung Gajah (elephant village), The Ranch, the playground of a restaurant and Puncak (in the mountains). In Kampung Gajah, we played the Tubby Wonderland. The Tubby Wonderland is when we slide down a huge gigantic straight slippery slide in a big round swimming bun. I went down with my dad and went down in the straight one instead of the twisty one because I thought it was scary. As I went down the slide and reached down at the bottom, I wanted to ride the twisty ride by myself but it was too late. My dad said I should ride on it in the next summer holiday. We also played Bumper Cars, racing in cars, rode on a train, waved to a huge bus as it passed by, and many many more. In The Ranch, we played the Flying Fox. My brother Brandon was just 5 years old that time and my cousin was just 7 years old. Brandon can ride the Flying Fox and he's not even scared to ride it. My cousin (who I said was 7 years old earlier) was so scared until she was crying at the top when my dad was taking a video! We also played water-gun in a boat and my cousin Matthew was all wet! But we had alot of fun. Even Brandon got wet!!

My Artistic Skills

  How I Started Manga Drawing

In Indonesia during my summer vacation last year for 2 months was a very exciting holiday. I started learning how to draw manga. I just chose a drawing from a book and drew the picture that I chose. I drew "A Little Girl Walking To School", holding a lunch box. I drew "A Girl With Her Pet",the girl was wearing a school uniform. "A Shark Chasing a Fish", and "A Girl On a Windy Day In The Park" were just my imagination, not copied from a book. I also drew "A Girl With a Heavy Suitcase On a Hot Day", and she was a woman who was walking back to work after her lunch break at 12:00 at noon. "A Girl Waiting For Her Friends", is a teenage girl waiting patiently for her friends to come and meet her there. The video at the bottom is me drawing a picture.

The Other Best Game I Like

I also like to play tetris. Sometimes I played tetris on my dad's BlackBerry. Tetris is a game when you have to try to put all the blocks in one horizontal line without any missing blocks in the line. You cannot let the blocks reach to the top of the game screen. You don't need to match the colours, all you have to focus on is arranging the blocks in line without reaching the top of the game screen and without leaving spaces for blocks. When you make a horizontal line without spaces for missing blocks, that line will disappear and the blocks will lower down it's height. So if it's height is almost to the top of the game screen, it will lower down it's own height only one line (the more full[no missing block spaces]lines are the more height of it lessens). Here is a video of the Tetris game. It's your's now video! :)(Fun!) :D (MORE FUN!!)

My Favorite Game

My favorite game is Twister. Twister is very fun. When I was in grade three, it was Fun Friday and we had Twister. I didn't know that game before. That was my first time of playing Twister. Twister is a game when people get tangled and fall down. Someone spins a wheel and read out what the arrow pointed at. For example, if the arrow pointed at red, and right foot, we have to put our right feet on a red spot on the Twister game mat. Almost every ime we went to play Twister, I almost always win. The two rules we have to be careful are that you cannot sit on the mat and we cannot put our hands or feet in the wrong spot. I had a fun time on that day. I love the Twister game. Here is the Twister mat picture.

Teachers' Day

Happy Teachers' Day! I made a teachers' day card for Ms. Penny, my Language Arts teacher, because she is very kind. I made a card that had drawings of pennies, so it matches her name. When I gave the card to her, she said, "Oh! It's so cute! Thank You Sasha!". I also gave her a yellow origami flower. She also said it was nice. Harshitha, gave her card to Ms. Penny too. Khushi ripped her card because Ms. Aye, our Thai Culture teacher, told her she did it wrong. This is what she wrote on it, "There are 3 types of people. Family: ...Parents- care... Teacher: teach... Monks: help, give the home(born)... Teachers' Day, Teachers' Day, Teachers' Day, Teachers' Day". She tore the whole card in front of me and Harshitha. Khushi said "I had to." Who cares. That was just a story. Well then, Happy Teachers' Day!!
