My Favorite Game

My favorite game is Twister. Twister is very fun. When I was in grade three, it was Fun Friday and we had Twister. I didn't know that game before. That was my first time of playing Twister. Twister is a game when people get tangled and fall down. Someone spins a wheel and read out what the arrow pointed at. For example, if the arrow pointed at red, and right foot, we have to put our right feet on a red spot on the Twister game mat. Almost every ime we went to play Twister, I almost always win. The two rules we have to be careful are that you cannot sit on the mat and we cannot put our hands or feet in the wrong spot. I had a fun time on that day. I love the Twister game. Here is the Twister mat picture.

Teachers' Day

Happy Teachers' Day! I made a teachers' day card for Ms. Penny, my Language Arts teacher, because she is very kind. I made a card that had drawings of pennies, so it matches her name. When I gave the card to her, she said, "Oh! It's so cute! Thank You Sasha!". I also gave her a yellow origami flower. She also said it was nice. Harshitha, gave her card to Ms. Penny too. Khushi ripped her card because Ms. Aye, our Thai Culture teacher, told her she did it wrong. This is what she wrote on it, "There are 3 types of people. Family: ...Parents- care... Teacher: teach... Monks: help, give the home(born)... Teachers' Day, Teachers' Day, Teachers' Day, Teachers' Day". She tore the whole card in front of me and Harshitha. Khushi said "I had to." Who cares. That was just a story. Well then, Happy Teachers' Day!!

Thailand's Flood Situation

Thailand's landform is slanted. The first problem of Thailand's flood is that people cut down the trees that are supposed to hold the rainwater that happens every year. Now Thailand does not have as many trees as before. The second problem of Thailand's flood is the long period rainy season which happened from July to mid of October. The third problem of Thailand's flood is that the dams held rainwater over their capacity, so it broke and made the water flow into people's homes.

To solve these problems, we have to let the water flow slowly to three rivers that can take the water to the Gulf of Thailand. In the future, we should plant more trees, so the trees can hold the water and stop Thailand from flooding and we should maintain the water to the right level, so the dam would not be too heavy and brake again.
To be safe, first you have to look at the map to check if you live in an area which is a flood risk area. If you live in a flood risk area, you should prepare water, canned food, instant food, a flashlight, extra batteries for your phone, an emergency light, candles, medicine, a first aid kit, a life jacket, and put it all in one bag. Second, check your whole house to see if there are any gaps or holes to cover. If there are holes or gaps to cover, cover them all. You should also cover the sewers and window gaps. Third, turn off the circuit breaker on the first floor. Fourth, move the the electronic applliances like refrigerators and televisions to the higher level. During the flood watchout for wild dangerous animals that might have flown into your house by the water. Be careful for dangerous insects too. Be safe. :) :D
